You should not orphan packages in rawhide, not cause of "not used any more". 
Check upstream for activity and users. What about future security patches? To 
retire shorewall is obviously a bad idea.
I would be happy to see someone to take and continue shorewall maintainership, 
at least in rawhide. But I do not feel competent enough to do it by myself.
