I am not against keeping the GSSAPI support in libcurl-minimal. From the discussion, it sounds like the right thing to do. But what do you mean by XML-RPC? I am not aware of any such feature in (lib)curl itself. XML-RPC is usually implemented in higher-level libraries. If they use the http(s) implementation of libcurl, they will work on top of libcurl-minimal as well.
