Already running… ^_^

It seems that kopete, passenger and minetest also need to be rebuilt.
Can you do it too?

Hey folks!

So… The rebuilds have finished without any bigger problems (orthanc was a
bit tricky, but that was not related to jsoncpp). We have
`jsoncpp-1.7.2-1.fc25` in rawhide, now.

Since all rebuilds were successful, the so-name-bump to 1 is a nice
enhancement (no removed symbols) and the excessive testsuites of the rebuilt
consumers of jsoncpp did not show any problems, I wouldn't expect any real
trouble when bringing this into fc24.

The working build-chain for bumping this would be:
jsoncpp : cmake : orthanc paraview vtk vfrnav : engrid pcl : mrpt

Sébastien, what do you think?

Cheers
   Björn

You're welcome! =)

The el-packages are fine, since the only API-incompatibility was the
null vs. nullRef thing mentioned in the bug-report, which affects ARM,
only and there is no ARM-arch on el <= 7.

Let me see how well the rebuilds on Rawhide are working and then let's
take a decision about updating fc24 to the new so-version; it will be
fine with the policy since we are still in alpha.

Thanks for the update. I wanted to update it myself but I’m not able
to rebuild the affected packages and didn't get any answer to my last
mail about it on devel. I didn't find the time to try again.

I didn’t plan to update it in f24 though. Please see this bug
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1209654

I see that you also updated the el packages, is that OK regarding the
update policy?

Hello all together,

I'm planning to update jsoncpp in rawhide (and possibly - if there
are no
further issues on rawhide - on fc24, too, since we are still in
alpha) to
version 1.7.1, which bumps the soname to libjsoncpp.so.1. I'll bump and
rebuild the affected, named below, packages, too.

Affected packages:
cmake
engrid
mrpt
orthancclient
paraview
pcl
vfrnav
vtk

Cheers
