thanks for the reply. I tried to use the tool but xgettext does not
output any strings for me. I tried to run it like this:
xgettext -D . -o - *.c
Also used some variations but no success. Can you give me a hint?

Its a generated comment from the tool that extracts the strings to be
translated.
