Hi all, the last joyride build (1825) includes a big part of the shell redesign explained in http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Designs.
What you can see today in the builds is what most probably will go into update.2, but there's still lots of work to do in completing the specifications, some code refactoring and fixing bugs. So, try it if you want, but refer to the wiki for the final design. Many of the smaller pieces are still missing.
