Hey OLPC team. No, really, is there any chance OLPC can ship Gnash 0.8.4 with XO OS final 8.2.0?
I tend to agree with Russ, It'll hurt more to ship Gnash 0.8.3 with 8.2.0 than Gnash 0.8.4 RC1. Latest Gnash trunk is at http://gnashdev.org/dev_snapshots/gnash-trunk-9980.tar.tgz and it'll go final from RC in a few hours. Given the amount of Flash/Gnash support inquiries there are, maybe it's worth it to try to get latest Gnash in there (with a possible 1-2 day delay) before shipping? It WOULD hurt for you to include 0.8.3 because it doesn't play YouTube. Unless we find a strong reason not to, we'll do a release tomorrow (about 28 hours from now). ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: "Russ Nelson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: 11 Oct 2008 18:59:22 +0200 Subject: [Gnash-dev] Gnash 0.8.4 expected within days. We're expecting to do a new release of Gnash within a couple of days. Please fetch and compile gnash-trunk-9980 as it is very likely to be the release. _______________________________________________ Gnash-dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnash-dev -- Carlos Nazareno http://www.object404.com interactive media specialist zen graffiti studios [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Devel mailing list Devel@lists.laptop.org http://lists.laptop.org/listinfo/devel
