When I try to compile olpc-wakeup.S, I get the following:

olpc-wakeup.S: Assembler messages:
olpc-wakeup.S:13: Error: no such instruction: `align'
olpc-wakeup.S:104: Error: invalid character '(' in mnemonic
olpc-wakeup.S:126: Error: no such instruction: `align'
make: *** [olpc-wakeup.o] Error 1
This is new terrain to me... so if anyone out there knows how to fix
this, I would be grateful for directions!
I naively tried various -march= setting (i586,i686,geode) but that
doesn't seem to be the issue.
I am compiling on F11/Rawhide.
