I started looking at ubifs expecting to at least have the chance to use it on larger raw devices. The nine-month technology cycle time of the NAND Flash industry just doesn't fit well with the larger SoC design time. The notable point, IMO, is the growing acceptance of FTLs everywhere, through SSDs.
