I don't think that's true. I'm one of the three developers involved in the web activities work and I like many of your ideas. Manuel in his reply appeared to be interested too. I have the feeling that if you look into it some more you might see the paths are not that different. But even if you really think we got it all wrong , I'd say we have been mostly researching so far... there is certainly space to fix the direction. Please get involved. Post your thoughts (constructive or not) when we discuss topics we have been researching (I'd say we did that for any non trivial topic so far). Make proposals, send patches.
