Excellent new idea! :-) I added it to this page for now collecting
ideas for daughterboards

The accessories page needs a lot of cleanup, but it's a good storage
of links and ideas for now...

I do think we should make the lowest-cost developer board possible
at some point, even leaving out the power supply, maybe leaving
some chips or connectors unpopulated or unsoldered, etc.

I will focus on cost-down for the full video synthesizer first,
and make it cheaper and easier to build derivative or improved
products out of the platform. We can then use that for all sorts
of things, including cheap hacker entry level boards...

The idea of putting another fpga/cpld on a daughterboard is also
great imho. THANKS!
