That doesn't really answer my question. The ability to provide one bitstream to work across all Milkymist One board revisions is as important as the ability to provide one lm32 binary/rootfs for all boards. Maybe one day we do indeed need two bitstreams, but going from one to two means the update feature has to pick the right one, and it also increases testing and maintenance costs going forward. So breaking binary compatibility is always something you want to avoid, if we care about regular users who just want to keep their box running.
