Easy. First connect the M1 to the internet - by default it tries DHCP configuration at boot. You can also use the system settings button to retry DHCP later or set IP addresses manually. Then press the first (left) button and hold it for a few seconds (until the progress bar appears on the screen). Power off and on again to use the new version. Voila.
