Beware, this installs some git snapshot, not the release.
* after upgrade, filesystem was broken, symptom: no config
This problem is only present in git and a fix should be available for
the next release.
* new firmware doesn't allow me to exit patch via mouse click.
I think someone (Xiangfu?) changed it to make it more difficult to drop
out of performance mode accidentally.
