I just -know- this is everyone's favorite subject, but... Brian used to take care of the ROMIO code in Open MPI, but he has now moved on to greener, happier pastures. As he left, he did raise the question of who was going to maintain ROMIO, which we all happily dodged.
I raise this question again because I have been informed that a new ROMIO patch may have come out that is required for Panasas support. I don't know enough myself to verify this situation, but it did raise the flag about who is going to track and support this area of our code, especially since we now may have to do something in that area for 1.3. Any great thoughts? Ralph
