Julien,

It is not only you who works so hard for the project but even I who am
a passive observer felt a bit irked to say the least about this guy's
attitude.

Anyway Vinay,

You should add the line

/usr/local/samba

or whichever prefix you use doing the configure stage of samba and
openchange to
/etc/ld.so.conf and run

# ldconfig

as root.

Instead of elaborating all this I had given a brief hint to you but
you ignored it.

For some reason you seem to want *an open source project* to handhold you.

Things do not work that way.

You have to show what you can do to benefit by Julien's work.

The onus is not on Julien to prove that his or Brad's instructions are
precise and accurate.

They are developers. I would rather that they write code; People like
us can document
since we will write in a manner that is useful for other people like us.

Have you thought of improving the docs anytime?

By the way I have been working on this project for nearly a year and
though there are
lacunae in documentation as well as code I did get a lot of things working.

And I certainly have done what you have been attempting to do without
success so far.

So it is not Julien's or somebody else's fault.

Sorry if I sounded a bit direct. Have a nice day.

Many people misunderstand how open source communities work. People
don't have time
for telling everything; and most people cannot benefit even if told
everything. ;)

So you have to do your own thing. Only then it will work.
