I guess I should add that I did try to compile some of those dependencies as well. If I find one that doesn't have any additional dependencies, it fails with the following error when I do a "make" (after doing "perl Makefile.PL"): make: *** No rule to make target `/usr/lib/perl/5.8/CORE/config.h', needed by `Makefile'. Stop.
