Recently I noticed many users posting problems on the forums with Java software. It turned out the Virtual Machine wasn't set properly on their systems.
I grabbed a daily Xfce to see and noticed this: sabayon sabayonuser # eselect java-vm list Available Java Virtual Machines: grep: /usr/share/java-config-2/vm/emul-linux-x86-java-1.6: No such file or directory grep: /usr/share/java-config-2/vm/icedtea-6: No such file or directory grep: /usr/share/java-config-2/vm/icedtea6-bin: No such file or directory grep: /usr/share/java-config-2/vm/sun-jdk-1.6: No such file or directory [1] emul-linux-x86-java-1.6 [2] icedtea-6 [3] icedtea6-bin [4] icedtea-bin-7 [5] sun-jdk-1.6 system-vm sabayon sabayonuser # ls -l /usr/share/java-config-2/vm/ total 1 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1017 Mar 12 14:32 icedtea-bin-7 Not sure how this is on other spins. Can we get this fixed in Molecule?
