Hm? It is not a request, I've just stated the fact that there's a commit that does so, but it'll go live only after rebuilding GRUB which wasn't done after the commit. I don't think an explicit request is needed - it's not high priority, and it's done when it's done (perhaps once the patch from this thread is applied and GRUB bumped/rebuilt). :)
