Hello, is it somehow possible to install local desktop files in locations like ~/.local/share/applications that are shown in the launcher?
Trying to put some in that path or in ~/Desktop (with xdg-desktop-icon) does not show them up in the launcher. Seems that the launcher only observes /usr/share/applications for desktop files. Copying one there as root shows it up in the launcher. But that is not really good practice. Especially when the icons should be shortcuts to web pages.
