Suppose I want to compare log file on several systems. Assume they are all on the same Ethernet switch. I'd like the clocks to track -- I don't care (much) how accurate they are as long as they all have the same offset/error.
Has anybody worked on this area? (Is it simple enough not to require "work"?) What sort of accuracy can I get? Anybody have data or a HOWTO? -- These are my opinions.
