Hi List, I've been working a couple of months ago on testing the OpenChange build on FreeBSD. After minor changes to Samba4 includes + the build system I had been able to run openchange-tools on FreeBSD 6.1.
However, there has been a lot of commits since July and I have this strong feeling based on previous unlucky experiences that patching the trunk would cause more damages (conflicts) than benefits. Given my last attempt, I suspect this wouldn't be too hard, but I'm currently busy making libmapi more reliable -- thanks to our beta-testers volunteers with relevant study case mailboxes ;-). IIRC we didn't port the code back to the trunk because we were looking for a smart way to handle the missing comparison_fn_t typedef on FreeBSD. Would anyone be interested doing some tests and send a patch to the list? (heartfelt appeal) Cheers, Julien. -- Julien Kerihuel [EMAIL PROTECTED] OpenChange Project Manager GPG Fingerprint: 0B55 783D A781 6329 108A B609 7EF6 FE11 A35F 1F79
