Johnny Jacob - responsible of Evo preview builds on opensuse buildfarm -
told be he would give it a look.

Just a suggestion prior you post to evolution-list. Try to start
evolution and evolution-data-server from a terminal. It may be possible
your problem is already listed in the FAQ and/or evolution-list.
Furthermore, this should provide relevant information for further
analyze.
