Hello list, For those that don't know who I am, I'll introduce myself and explain what this update is all about.
My name is Alan Alvarez and I am one of the students that was picked for the Google Summer of Code 2008 program, to work on an Open Change resource (plugin) for akonadi. Although the main goal of my project is to write a resource for akonadi, another big goal that will definitely benefit Open Change in the long-run is a C++ wrapper around libmapi. During the first week of coding this is mainly what I've been working on and currently most of what has already been done on the resource by Brad Hards could be replaced using this wrapper. There is definitely a lot more to be done for the wrapper to be in a usable state by other projects. If anyone is interested in seeing the progress of the wrapper it can be fetched from: svn co https://svn.openchange.org/openchange/branches/libmapi++ This week I plan to start adding documentation to be generated using doxygen and to keep adding more interfaces for the wrapper.
