Python is IMHO a good solution too and is one of the bindings we were
willing to provide in OpenChange for a long time.

I guess the next questions are:

        1. Are you willing to or have you already been doing some work
        on Python bindings for libmapi? 
        
        2. If you have already been doing something, do you have any
        sources we can look at? 
        
        3. Would it make sense to create you a branch on
        svn.openchange.org so you can push your work and have feedback
        from the community?
        
        4. Do you have any estimated time line in mind?

Last but not least, note that OpenChange policy only accepts
contributions from individuals. Would this requirement be a problem for
you?
