Findings

  1. Use-after-free with legacy-API block filesystems (High, latent).
legacy_parse_monolithic() does ctx->legacy_data = data
  - it retains the pointer without copying. The new do_new_mount() code frees
the merged page immediately after
  parse_monolithic_mount_data(), but vfs_get_tree() -> legacy_get_tree() later
passes ctx->legacy_data to fs_type->mount(),
  where mount_bdev()'s ve_devmnt_process() reads and even memmoves into the
freed page, and fill_super() parses it. Triggers
  on every container mount of a legacy FS_REQUIRES_DEV filesystem (ext2, f2fs,
jfs, ocfs2, hfs...). All such in-tree
  filesystems are disabled in configs/kernel-6.12.0-x86_64.config, so it cannot
fire on the shipped config - but nothing
  structural prevents it (config change, out-of-tree module). A related
behavioral issue in the same path: legacy fs option
  parsers now receive "ro"/"sync" tokens they historically never saw and often
reject.

  2. Remount with MS_DIRSYNC now fails inside containers (Medium, reachable
today). path_mount() passes SB_DIRSYNC through
  in sb_flags; the new code formats it as "dirsync" and re-parses it, and
vfs_parse_sb_flag() sets fc->sb_flags_mask |=
  SB_DIRSYNC. Since MS_DIRSYNC is not in MS_RMT_MASK, reconfigure_super()
(fs/super.c) rejects the whole remount with
  -EINVAL. Previously (and still on the host) the flag was silently ignored per
the legacy mount(2) contract; util-linux
  converts a "dirsync" option to the flag, so mount -o remount of a dirsync
mount in a CT now fails on ext4 and any other
  enabled blockdev fs.

  3. Missing Fixes: tag (Low) - this is a security fix for a bypass present
since 50a959cca34e4 ("ve/fs/devmnt: process
  mount options").

  4. Comment inaccuracy (Low) - "Returns @data when nothing needs to be added"
is wrong: a new page is returned for every
  container blockdev mount even with nothing to append.
