I'd like to make Vdsm a pure noarc package, by shedding the remaining "safelease" binary to a helper package and posted http://gerrit.ovirt.org/30678 on these lines.
However, this patch is not enough - when built on an x86_64 host, rpm still recognizes vdsm.rpm and vdsm-python.rpm as x86_64 instead of noarch. Dropping all mentions of x86_64 from the spec did not help, either. Is there an RPM wizard around who can tell me why is this auto-detection happening, and how can it be avoided?
