Just read through them and see if the problem is solved. If an issue has been inactive for more than half a year and the last comment is something like »is this still an issue?« it can probably be closed.

And in any case we shouldn’t be too afraid of cleaning up and closing old issues – otherwise the irrelevant and already fixed issues will make us lose focus. Closed issues can always be reopened.
