My idea is if we must say is close to something is similar to once from ¿Mickäel? Ys to create some kinda auto-discovery system, avoiding you to connect neither keyboard/screen to the raspberry, just conecting the Pi to the network, browsing to a well known URL for example "get.owncloud.org" or something like this and execute a tool on your PC Lin/Bsd/Win an get you Pi autodiscovered with owncloud sync, forgeting about IP's an geeky stuff for the non-tech people. Also, as for mobile platforms I can do something similar with Android and SailfishOS, and indeed surely reusing code to avoid repeating things.
