Hi, I took it upon me to make the 2017.10 tag a proper annotated tag using `git tag -a` (`git describe` on current master no returns `2017.10-devel`). The last real annotated tag was 2017.04-devel, so for the last two releases our master counted commits from 2017.01 ;-).
