i845G and TV-out on PAL-I TV

Hi,   Does anyone on the list use the TV out features of the intel integrated i845G(V) chip? I’ve been trying to get this to work for ages. The problem seems to be that the tv out is set to the American NTSC standard and since I live in England and use a PAL tv I can only get a monochrome image, among other problems. I’ve tried using s-video connections, composite connections and nothing works. I guess there aren’t many people in the U.K. trying to do this so it may not even be an option in the driver.   If anyone has managed to get this working and can share their settings I’d appreciate it. On the other hand if anyone knows for a fact that the driver doesn’t support tv standard switching I could start looking at updating the driver code. I’m a pretty competent programmer but I have no experience programming for Xfree. If needed could someone point me in the direction of the code responsible and any original documents used to create it.   Thanks in advance,   Adam AdamWood_at_xephi_dot_co_dot_uk   P.s. I’m using XFree86 4.3.0 on Gentoo using the sources gathered from gentoo’s ebuild so they may not be the absolute latest cvs.
