Hi all,
I was analyzing a Xserver crash on my SuSE system and found that it was because of xf4vnc hooking into xserver and display driver.
I tried to understand how xserver and display driver work with each other but confused a lot in it.
Can anybody explain me how they actually work and where framebuffer come into picture.
As I understand (please correct me if I am wrong) display driver has to is pick up the pixel information from framebuffer and paint it, but why then xserver has a dependency on display driver.(Xserver supports only some display drivers and not all?)
