G'day Adam, Tim, and all,
I've got a client who has a heavily forking process, and we're using
Devel::NYTProf to profile it. Currently it produces one profile per child:
nytprof.out # Parent
nytprof.out.1234
nytprof.out.1235
nytprof.out.1236
What we'd like to do is aggregate all the profile information together into
one big report, essentially the equivalent of:
nytprofhtml -f nytprof.out \
-f nytprof.out.1234 \
-f nytprof.out.1235 \
-f nytprof.out.1236
Have I missed something totally obvious? Is there a way to have recent
NYTProfs log all their profile data to the same file, or alternatively to
merge a number of profiles together for processing? I'm sure we can't be
the only people wanting this. ;)
Many many thanks for an awesome tool!
Paul
