Boy, wouldn't it have been nice to see this kind of involvement when
we had the problem on the agenda?
I get the impression that the current selection of bugs declared
release-critical is not particularly well-liked. So I will cut them
back to I think is essential. Please let me know if you think the new
list should be re-expanded or cut down further.
I will also apply the remaining cleanups that are already prepared.
Sorry, but I don't think the sudden rush should mean that the work
done should invalidated. I will even cut back on the appropriate
prudence and commit them quickly, so that they can be checked by
others more easily.
