When I tried to apply my patch to a recent cvs snapshot, two hunks failed (although I didn't understand why, they should have succeeded with some offset). After manually fixing this, I can't reproduce the preceding. Therefore, I suspect that the patch simply didn't apply for you, either. I'll upload the patch updated for the current cvs version.
