Note that there was a complementary change that was pushed a few months ago to deal with un-parseable devids: https://github.com/openzfs/openzfs/pull/605.
It doesn't directly address the problem of swapped devids but the upside of that approach is that it allows to import a pool without removing the devids permanently (although we'd need to add a tunable to ignore devids even when they are parseable). The downside is that in the case of swapped devids we'd need to leave that tunable on forever. That said, I still think there's value in the fix in this PR, although I want to make sure that this is really the behaviour that we want to upstream. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
