I have redundancy over multiple hosts. I replicate all objects between the machines. This way doing anything other than multiple zpools are a waste. If I just throw all disks into a big zpool with striping, I have to rebuild all the data if one disk fails. If I use mirror or raidz, this adds up unnecessary IO needs and disk usage. ------------------------------------------ openzfs: openzfs-developer Permalink: https://openzfs.topicbox.com/groups/developer/T10533b84f9e1cfc5-M232d4fb18cc56e6c11d262ea Delivery options: https://openzfs.topicbox.com/groups/developer/subscription
