DDS in general and OpenSplice DDS specifically can’t be compared to a centralized database which typically supports ACID transactions. One could view DDS (and OpenSplice DDS) as a sort of *replicated*global-dataspace where we ‘borrowed’ a subset of SQL to query/filter for proper subscribed data.
