I would guess the example plugin was put together on Windows
or something... anyway, another plea to get the permissions fixed.
The issue was caused by a bug in the bazaar "export" command, which mess
up the permissions when exporting to zip (see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bzr/+bug/97671).
The developer that uploaded the .zip didn't notice this.
This should be fixed now. Sorry for the annoyance.
