Politically: Great Britain = England (and Wales) + Scotland (*) United Kingdom = Great Britain + Northern Ireland Geographically "Great Britain" is the island containing the City of Liverpool. The Isle of Man (manx: Ellan Vannin - I'm afraid I use both terms without thinking) is an island in the Irish sea, formerly an independent state it is now a Crown Dependency. If you have Northern Ireland data then you could include that on the map, there are both aesthetic and marketing considerations as to whether to do that. I am qualified to make neither judgment, but many on this list most certainly are. Having Man makes sense if you have the data since it sits neatly in the Irish Sea (and is quite scenic in places). I doubt anyone will really mind. Sadly you don't have data from the republic of Ireland otherwise you could sell it as the "British Isles" which would be even better. Are there My Society mugs etc? If not, why not? I'd certainly buy them if they had cats on them. -- Francis Davey _______________________________________________ Mailing list [email protected] Archive, settings, or unsubscribe: https://secure.mysociety.org/admin/lists/mailman/listinfo/developers-public
