If sent reasonable well in advance delivery is not time critical and non-arrival is not disasterous. It would be easy for people to do as they tend to address and post all their cards at the same time. It would have maximum impact as it's a busy time for the post office. Perhaps CR15 4AS would be a suitable non-postcode to use.
