Partly, I consider that an unhelpful goal, because I don't think all public sector information should be structured in that way. It should be proactively published in a more useful manner by authorities. Others (Julian Todd) have asked for WhatDoTheyKnow to be a search engine for other FOI requests. I can see that would be a valuable website in and of itself - something which knew where public authorities published FOI responses and helped search it. However, all of these would be a distraction from the simplicity and authority of the existing site. By "authority" here I mean that we can guarantee the responses are from the bodies we say they are from, and that we are publishing a complete correspondence archive, not just publishing responses. I think the search engine aspect could be a good thing. But it would be really hard to beat a "site:.gov.uk" search on Google. Meanwhile, feel free to make requests such as you describe below on WhatDoTheyKnow, or duplicate requests that the Tax Payers' Alliance have already made.
