At one point, mySociety's GroupsNearYou site attempted to host an
online group for group hosts until the spammers on Google Groups came
to roost.
At E-Democracy.org we are now ramping up peer to peer connection among
the online group hosts that site is designed to reach. We'd be glad to
assume that online convening role for you if you like, since that is
our special strength.
