With a nicely evil terms and conditions. I'm not sure I'd be happy with elected officials paying for a service which is going to allow what will mostly be propaganda to be distributed to a fairly small proportion of the electorate (it may be really cool, but actually the vast majority of voters don't have an iphone, and those that do probably "need" a service like this least). Obviously MPs can pay for what they like, but somehow a lot of personal expenditure seems to end up coming out of the public purse. Sorry, I'm just suspicious of a company with a clause (headed "data protection") like this in their T&C's: "Public Zone is a limited company incorporated in England and is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998. All personal information you supply to us will be treated in accordance with that Act." Indeed. -- Francis Davey _______________________________________________ Mailing list [email protected] Archive, settings, or unsubscribe: https://secure.mysociety.org/admin/lists/mailman/listinfo/developers-public
