Our current policy is to add them on request (we currently have 2 listed [1]), however we would consider adding them in bulk if there were definitive lists or databases of contact email addresses to match against. We have to balance the fairly low level of demand for making FOI requests to GPs versus the volunteer admin overhead of keeping the list of GPs and their addresses up-to-date.
We would also need our bulk import tool to be improved, especially as we'd want to tag them with their externally recognised NHS codes for easier ongoing reconciliation. <<https://github.com/sebbacon/alaveteli/issues/60>> Kind regards Alex - WhatDoTheyKnow.com volunteer [email protected] [NB: subscribed to this list via my personal email address] [1] <<http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/body/list/surgery>> On 4 July 2011 16:05, Paul Bradshaw <[email protected]> wrote: > Have just been impressed by how quickly a GP surgery has responded to an FOI > request - even though it was submitted through the old fashioned postal > system. > I wondered whether WDTK had attempted to include GP addresses before in > addition to the current list of organisations?
