I've previously looked at prescribing data for antimalarials (normally
only available on private prescription) and found it extremely
interesting to see that if you're lucky enough to live in Hackney,
Southwark or Lewisham you get them on the NHS.

Some other PCTs have quite high quinine prescription costs which means
they're probably spending a lot on treatment for people who got
malaria (with the extra hospital costs this brings).  One reason is
because travellers are put off by the high cost of prophylaxis
(especially malarone which is around £2.50 per day)...
