Of course you're welcome to use the WKT if you'd like; it's all
derived from Boundary-Line data and legislation so usable under the OS
OpenData Licence and Open Government Licence.

If you'd prefer to use my import script, I've pushed a branch (called
police-legislation) to github with my changes, which are all in this
commit:

https://github.com/jennyd/mapit/commit/de4d7df0898881d969904faab049093a8ec3aee0

To use the script you'd need to have the Boundary-Line data imported
already. It also uses names data from the police API; if you have an
API key already you can fetch it using get-police-names.py, or
otherwise I've put a copy of it here:

Let me know if there are any problems.

Jenny
