I just did a search for T Dan Smith on google and Newcastle City Council's web
site.
There's 2 obvious references on the City's site - one to do with public art,
and the 1960s time line
http://search.newcastle.gov.uk/search?q=cache:qTj6W7rvWWsJ:www.newcastle.gov.uk/leisure-libraries-and-tourism/libraries/1960s-timeline+t+dan+smith&access=p&output=xml_no_dtd&ie=UTF-8&client=new_livery&site=just_newcastle_gov&proxystylesheet=new_livery&oe=UTF-8
There's plenty of general references, obits etc., and Amber Films
docu-thriller, but little or no source material.
I was/am researching no one as high profile as T Dan Smith!
Best wishes
Dominic
