The person on the desk next to me is often fond of saying that his outift: http://www.honestbuildings.com/ aims to be the "social network for buildings" - and to have a profile for every building in the country (world actually I suspect) as commercially usable open data. So its something that various people are now beginning to try for. -- Francis Davey
