Errr... because we don't live in a democracy when people are still 'bred' to lead us, and most of the land is owned by so few people (we're feudal in all but name).
Things will change when you and I and ordinary people stand a chance to making policy/law. Right now money = votes/selection for election. Happy to help where needed.
