Hello @ all,

my name is Paul Sebastian Ziegler.
I read on the project's website that the first thing anybody who wishes
to contribute to the project shall do is to join this mailinglist and
post an introduction of himself.
So thats what I'm about to do now.
I am an 18-year old highschool student from Germany.
Though I am in my last year of school I can look back upon four years of
working experience connected to computers.
However I am not usually into primary programming. I come from the
"security-aware community" - so my usual job is to harden systems, to
pentest networks or to look for errors in programs that could lead to
0days. Also I sometimes work as an author for security-related magazines.
But don't let my casual work annoy you.
I got fair skills in C# and I'm often using them.
Until now I've been working with Mono.
But I belong to the people who completely disagree with the deal Novell
made with Microsoft concerning the patents.
I wasn't all to fond of SuSE anyway (Gentoo is way nicer for
high-security systems in my opinion) so it didn't take me long to dump
about everything I used from Novell. Today I took the last step by
switching from Mono to DotGNU for my programming.

I can see that there are many classes and functions still missing in
this implementation. That is why I want to contribute.
My plan is to help by implementing some of them.
I'm not in any danger of reading unpublished information from Microsoft.

That is about all there is to be said. I don't think anybody is
interested in my life's story or what I had for breakfast so I'm keeping
this mail short. :)
But if there should be any open questions concerning me please don't
hesitate to ask.

I would like to say hello to everybody.
Also advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for information
like "where to start", "where help is most needed" and "stuff you should
know".
The project's website doesn't feature too many infos on contributing and
this is the first OpenSource project I join. Up until now I have only
released some fuzzers I wrote myself under the GPL.

Regards
Paul
